UWG Funded 180K in Collaborative Grants!

Thanks to UWG donors, United Way of Galveston was able to fund 180K in collaborative grants! A big THANK YOU to all of our donors and collaborative agencies for making change happen! 2011/2012 Grants Under Review

 We are proud to say that the 2011/2012 UWG Grants are currently under review for funding!  The Committee's results will be release soon!  Thank you to all of the applicants!

Campaign Update

 We are excited to continue our 2011/2012 UWG Campaign!  Individuals, businesses, agencies, and community members are working hard to help us reach our goal of 1.3 M!  Thank you to everyone for your hard work and diligent efforts!  Keep up the great work and we can succeed together!

 

UTMB Health Multi-Share Plan

Enrollment is underway! The Office of Community Health Plans has several openings still available for the UTMB Health Multi-Share Plan, with effective dates as early as September 1, 2011. Based on availability and income eligibility requirements, a monthly premium subsidy may be available.

"The Plan is a benefits program, not health insurance, offered to employees who work for small businesses in Galveston County that employ between two and 50 employees," said Craig S. Kovacevich, MA, Executive Director of UTMB's Community Health Network.
